Christopher Lowden - M.D.

Dr. Lowden brings 15 years of experience in psychiatry as medical director of our Downers Grove clinic. While he has treated patients at all levels of care he most enjoys working with patients in PHP and IOP. 

He has a passion for bringing evidence-based care to people who need it most while taking pride in tailoring a treatment plan to each specific patient’s needs.  He believes this takes careful psychiatric assessment with a willingness to be creative to address each individual’s unique circumstance.

Prior to becoming medical director at Skyway Behavioral Health he has experience as Senior Medical Director at Rogers Behavioral Health as well as providing treatment to patients at Compass Health Center and Central DuPage Hospital.

Dr. Lowden completed medical school at Loyola Stritch University of Chicago and residency at Northwestern University, where he served as chief resident in his final year.

In his free time Dr. Lowden enjoys exercise, sports, reading and spending time with family.
