Matthew Leyva, LSW

Matthew Leyva comes to Skyway Behavioral Health with over 10 years’ experience in business and 4 years’ experience working in the behavioral health industry. Matthew values working with marginalized populations to overcome challenging systems and heal from systemic trauma. He has a passion for connecting with individuals and helping others grow both personally and professionally.

Matthew received his bachelor’s degree in marketing and business management from The University of Arizona in 2012 and most recently obtained his master’s degree in social work from Loyola University Chicago.

After 10 years in the financial services industry where he learned about the value of connecting with individuals and building genuine relationships, Matthew realized his true passion was in social work helping others.

In his free time, Matthew enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, trying new experiences, and getting in some much-needed self-care.
