Melinda Ficarra

Melinda Ficarra, a Certified Family Practice Nurse Practitioner, serves as the Primary Medical Provider at Skyway Downers Grove. She ensures that every client receives personalized medical attention from day one. Upon admission, Melinda conducts thorough medical history reviews, physical exams, and oversees all necessary initial screenings, including labs, EKGs, and vitals. She believes strongly in a team approach, regularly collaborating with Skyway staff and outside specialists to create a seamless care experience.

Melinda earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University locally in Downers Grove, following her Bachelor’s degree from Rush University in Chicago. She is board-certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Her diverse background, spanning the Emergency Department, surgical units, family practice, and anesthesia, provides her with a broad skill set. Melinda is genuinely enjoying her role at Skyway and looks forward to caring for each new client with dedication and warmth.
