Sarah is the Program Manager for Skyway’s Mood, Anxiety and Trauma 1 PHP and IOP tracks. She started with Skyway when we opened in 2022 and had the privilege of working as an Individual Therapist on the Eating Disorders Track and as a Clinical Lead on the Complex Trauma track. She specializes in Evidenced-Based Trauma Protocols and is passionate about helping people find relief from symptoms of Complex Trauma and PTSD, Eating Disorders and Mood and Anxiety challenges. Sarah brings a whole person in environment perspective with the goal of treating all vulnerability factors contributing to client’s difficulties. She works to challenge and remove unjustified guilt and shame while working toward a life that feels more sustainable overall.
Sarah Graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a master’s degree in social work specializing in mental health and has since obtained an LCSW, leading her to provide Clinical Supervision and Consultation to provisionally licensed clinicians at Skyway.
Before coming to Skyway Sarah Managed an Outreach Program in Chicago doing crisis intervention work and connecting individuals experiencing houselessness to basic needs, mental health care and other resources. She also worked as a Primary Therapist treating Mood, Anxiety and Eating Disorders, and as a Clinical therapist working with underserved youth in after school programs.
Sarah’s passions include Social Justice, challenging Systemic Inequities, treating the whole person and increasing support to help people on their journey to greater stability.
When Sarah is not at work, she is typically chasing her two kiddos around and enjoys making art, watching movies and spending time outside.
